Tikkun Olam’s calendar for 2012-2013 we be available soon
The Tikkun Olam or social action committee at KG manages several activities:
- collection of food and gifts for the needy
- visits to sick and disabled members

- a partnership with the Herzog Hospital Trauma Center

Dear Rabbi Tom, Denise, Patrick, Jon, Janet, Les, Sukaya, Anne, Nicole, Stephan and all members of KG,
In the name of the soldiers, the trauma center, Sasson and Alon we would like to thank you so much for an amazing experience we had in your community! Your hospitality was wonderful and your eagerness to help in hosting us was so very warm and welcoming. We want to personally thank everyone who took part in making this an unforgettable workshop for the maglan team and for all of us.
The soldiers themselves have thanked you in person and continued to speak of the importance of knowing that Jewish communities abroad care deeply for the welfare of soldiers in Israel and are proud of what they do, both in the army and after they are discharged.
Kehilat Gesher’s tikkoun olam has helped us, the second time now, to give our soldiers what they deserve for devoting three years of their lives for the security of the state of and the Jewish people. We also want to thank Stephan for the tickets to EuroDisney. The group had a very good time at the park. We now hope to bring a group of brothers and sisters of children suffering from cancer too, hopefully in May.
We are so happy to have you as our partners for tikkoun olam in the real sense.
Last but not least we want to thank Patrick for his continuous efforts to make all of this happen.
