A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is an essential step in the passage to Jewish adulthood, with all the privileges and responsibilities that entails. The ceremony enables family, friends and the religious community as a whole to celebrate together the continuity of Jewish tradition and our spiritual confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Our B\u2019nei Mitzvah classes are held on Sundays at Kehilat Gesher with Rabbi Tom.<\/span> Candidates ages 12 and older will be helped to reflect on what it means to be Jewish; their own values; and what should be the role of Jews in the world today. Students perfect their knowledge of the prayers and prepare the Parasha, Haftara and Drasha.<\/span><\/p>\n
